Viktor and Rolf tulle sculptures

I love this Viktor and Rolf tulle spring 2010 collection it's so inspirational.

This clever manipulation of fabric creates a thick cocoon encasing the wearer in a fantasy of tulle.

Viktor and Rolf showed that fabric can be a sculptures medium in this case tulle was the fabric of choice.

Densely packing tightly sheered tulle, and then layering them to the point that they were almost solid blocks, Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren began “sculpting” a salmon floor length gown with a bullet hole.

Some of these gown might be hard to wear simply because they weight more than the wearer but this is the sacrifice we make for beautiful fashion.

“With the credit crunch and everybody cutting back, we decided to cut tulle ball gowns,” Rolf Snoeren said.

All of these gowns on their own are show stoppers such beautiful fashion and works of art.
